Access Vital Records

Vital records document life events such as birth, death, marriage, and divorce. To order records online, you’ll need to have a valid ID, complete an online application, and pay a fee.

Apply/Renew Vehicle Registration

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) manages vehicle registration for the state. Before taking to the road, make sure you have your registration in order. If your expiration date is approaching, you can renew your registration online up to 90 days before expiration. Texans living in emissions counties will need to have a passing emissions inspection before applying for registration.

Renew/Replace Driver License

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) offers services to renew, update, upgrade, and check the status of a driver license or ID, and provides driver education courses.

Request Licensee Driver Records

Through this service, Texas Driver License Holders may request their own Driver Record online and print the Record at the end of a successful order. You may also choose to receive the Driver Record by email. You may not request to receive your Driver Record through the mail.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is responsible for licensing and monitoring Texans who choose to carry a handgun.
