Library Policies
Library Rules
General Rules:
Library cards are to be used only by the cardholder.
No running and/or horse-play.
No loud noises, music, or speaking loudly.
Do not use cell phones in the library. Please be courteous and step outside.
The library telephone is for office use only. Please do not ask.
No eating, no drinking, and no chewing gum.
No smoking and/or vaping.
Please pick up after yourself (or your children).
Reading materials are not allowed in the restrooms.
Parents/Guardians are responsible for material(s) checked out by their children.
Children under 9 years of age cannot be left unattended.
Internet and computer policy must be followed.
Computer speakers must be kept at an acceptable volume (low).
Library is not responsible for lost or corrupt files while using computers.
Library will not loan USB drives to patrons.
Library will not loan headphones to patrons.
Library will not loan device chargers to patrons.
Please use proper book care.
Please respect library property.
Children’s Area Rules:
Toys, puzzles, and games will need to be put back in their proper place.
Please complete puzzles.
Toys, puzzles, and games are to remain in the children’s area only.
Display items on bookshelves are not toys.
Please do not reshelve books - place books on cart, leave on tables, or put in return box.
No climbing on tables or chairs.
No playing under computer tables.
Headphones are not to be removed from the children’s computers.
No food or drink on children’s rug.
Please do not remove or play with items on Library Staff’s desk.
